Heather Keefe, APRN, FNP-C is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for connecting with her patients. Heather received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. Her enthusiasm for continuous improvement and a desire for lifelong learning drove her earn a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas in Arlington, Texas. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Heather has over a decade of experience in health care and gastroenterology as a Registered Nurse and then a Nurse Practitioner; as well as provider experience in family practice and women’s health. Along with her interest in gastroenterology, she believes in empowering patients through education about their bodies and understanding the purpose of routine screening exams.

 

As a provider of comprehensive health care, Heather considers it a privilege to advocate for patients’ needs, health and overall well-being at all stages of life. In addition to her diverse clinical experience; her warm personality and gentle manner will set patients at ease and provide a level of comfort in this patient-provider relationship that is so unique.

 

Outside of healthcare, Heather stays busy with her husband, two daughters and their dog. She enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling, playing soccer and watching football.
